Bordentown Township has officially introduced the 2025 Municipal Budget—and we know what you might be thinking: budget talk can feel like… a lot. Charts, numbers, and terms that don’t always translate into everyday language. Totally fair.
But here’s the thing: at the end of the day, this is about YOUR community—and how the Township plans for all the things it takes to keep Bordentown safe, clean, and running smoothly.
We put this summary together to break it all down in a way that (hopefully) makes sense. No complicated jargon. No guessing games. Just a clear look at where the money comes from, where it goes, and what we can—and can’t—control.
One important note: the Township does not manage the school budget (that’s handled separately by the Bordentown Regional School District). But we've got a great working relationship with them, and we’re always collaborating to help each other problem-solve and find solutions that benefit the whole community.
If you’re someone who likes to dive deeper into the numbers (we respect that), the full budget report (along with this version) is available anytime on our Township Committee web page.
Swipe through the highlights, take a look—and as always, if you’ve got questions, our door’s open.
