Hydrant Flushing begins TOMORROW and continues through Thursday, April 4 in the northern parts of the Township.
Your water may be rusty or brown after the flush, therefore, do not run your washing machine or dishwasher. If you can bypass your RO unit or the house water filter, that is a good idea as well. Disable your automatic ice makers. To those of you who keep saltwater fish, please make sure you don't make any saltwater these days if your system is set to auto-tap off. Run your water for a bit after the flush, until the water is

A racoon captured in the vicinity of Locust and Willow Roads in Bordentown Township has tested positive for rabies.
The Burlington County Health Department has identified two animals and one person who may have been exposed to this racoon, and is asking for the public’s cooperation to prevent the spread of rabies:
1.) If you have been scratched or bitten by wildlife, stray cats, or dogs in the vicinity of the indicated neighborhood in the last month, please contact the Burlington County Health Department by calling (609) 265-5548.
2.) Check the status of your pets’ rabies vaccine. If your pet spends time outdoors, or if your pet has not received its latest rabies shot within the last 3 months, the Health Department advises that a rabies booster be administered.
3.) Avoid all wild animals – especially bats, skunks, foxes, cats, and raccoons.
Rabies is a fatal viral disease that affects the brain. The rabies virus lives in the saliva (spit) of infected animals and is spread from a bite or when saliva from an infected animal touches broken skin, open wounds or the lining of the mouth, nose, or eyes.
Rabies in certain animals – especially wildlife – is common in New Jersey.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Burlington County Health Department at 609-265-5548.

Wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Mayor Fuzy honored the late Mayor Steve Benowitz with a proclamation for his dedication and service to the Township. The Township Committee was thankful that Steve's family came to the meeting to honor Steve.
Mayor Fuzy dedicated the moment of silence to all the people that we thought had so many tomorrows, but leave voids in our lives. May our fond memories of them always bring us joy.

Mayor Fuzy and a Committee Member are hosting an informal Mayor/Citizen Meetings tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the Senior Community Center.
The Mayor is eager to hear from residents with an open dialogue about anything Bordentown Township. Light refreshments will be provided by the Mayor at the meeting. #BordentownTwp #MayorCitizenMeetings
